No. He acted against the rules of the world bank in order for his girlfriend to get her raise.
The world bank can not act against corruption if its leader is acting in a manner that can be viewed as corrupt.
The question though is has anyone else at the World Bank acted in this manner? If they have, then they should go as well. It would be unfair to single one person out for a transgression when others flout the rules.

'Clive H' and 'jeeper_p' should try to get out into the world more , Clive might even learn the meaning of the word 'nepotism'. The man has proven to be corrupt and all the waffle from the Bush Lie Machine doesn't change that. He should have had the sack on day one!.

While he should go, this is likely to be rather irrelevant as Bush will doubtless find him a nice little job with additional remuneration to compensate him for the loss of prestige.

Giving his girlfriend a raise is not a crime. I just think far too many people are just plain jealous. The accusers are confused and think something approaching nepotism has taken place. Well it has not. Good for him and I hope he carries on without paying any attention what-so-ever to his critics and those who wish to do him harm.
Wolfowitz should keep his job. Boss Chief World Bank.

Truthfully, I don't care.
It's not like he works for the US Government anymore.
So what effect can he have on the United States?
