Melinda-no; Blake-yes.

No way! Even Blake didn't look happy about it. Vote for the worst is backing Blake, I guessed that was why he didn't go home this week. Everyone there knew that this was wrong. Blake will get a career, so will Jordin, but Melinda deserved to win the show. She is a wonderful person worth being called an Idol. She's someone to look up to.

I think Jordin & Melinda should be in the top 2. So many people talk about how "original" Blake is. They seem to have forgotten that it is a singing contest, not an originality contest. Melinda sings much better than Blake. This is the 2nd year that the wrong people are in the finals. Last year should have been Chris 1st, Elliot 2nd. But I guess everything happens the way they do for a reason.

NO EFFIN WAY!!!!! She has the best voice of any contestant in any season. She may have lost to Jordin only because Jordin is younger and more marketable. Melinda is very shy and plain Jane-ish. But considering that San-jerkoff made the top ten , this only proves that this show has had it and has become a popularity contest for little girls. Hence, Blake is in the finale. Make no mistake, though: Melinda Doolittle will have a successful career in the entertainment business.

If it's based on vocal ability, I don't think she should have left last night. But it's not just about singing, it's more like popularity contest. It doesn't matter whether she won AI or just being a contestants, I'm pretty sure she'll get a record deal. With the two left, my choice would be for Jordin to win it. Blake is good and entertaining, but it's getting boring.

Well me and my co-worker kinda saw it happening. Even though we didn't want it to. But we are starting to believe that AI is really rigged. If you go back in history. The show started off looking for the new POP STAR. And who won? Kelly Clarkson. But only for a short time did she actually have a pop sound she is more Alternative now. Then we have Ruben Studdard who is Rnb/Gospel. Fantasia Barrino RnB/Soul
Carrie Underwood Country, Taylor Hicks Country.

So we kinda felt like they really want a Pop Artist they can push out there hard. And I feel like it will be Jordin over Blake.

Melinda is extremely talented, and if the decision were based on talent only, then I know she would have won the entire thing. But with everyone else voting, and with her "type" of talent, I knew she wouldn't go all the way. But she will have a phenomenal career on broadway or something. On the other hand, if you want to sell "pop", then you definitely want one of the two who are remaining.

Obviously America would rather see Blake or Jordin. She is still going to get a record deal, the other two are just more appealing. I personally like Jordin much better than Melinda.

HELL NO! I was so disappointed, Simon said it right when he said if the comp. was anything about singing she should win.
Out of EVERYONE who competed, Dolittle should of had the victory in the bag. I don't know what Americans think sometimes?
Melinda has some PIPES!
That lady will go far. Best of luck to her!

I was shocked but maybe I understand. Either the people that love her didn't vote because they thought she was safe or all the young kids voted for Blake & Jordin or both.
