LOS ANGELES - Paris Hilton will serve about half of her 45-day jail sentence and will be separated from the general inmate population, authorities said Wednesday. The hotel heiress will spend about 23 days in a "special needs housing unit" at the Century Regional Detention Center in suburban Lynwood, Los Angeles County sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore said.

Her sentence was shortened after jail officials gave her credit for good behavior, Whitmore said. Officials considered several factors in calculating the credit, including that she appeared for her latest court date, he said.

Gee. Next time I commit a felony, I'll just show up in court, and expect my sentence to be cut in half.

Good Behavior? What good behavior? Wow ... she needs to be in the General Population and serve that stupidly short sentence to the fullest ... because with all her addictions and problematic behaviors -- I am sure (like most sane people) that we all are worried about the folks she is going to KILL When she next decides to get behind the wheel of a moving Weapon (the vehicle she is driving).

The criminal justice equipment interior the U. its bull$h!t that a ***** like paris hilton gets her sentence cut...but typical of the american justice system to reward celebrities for "good behavior." So one time of good behavior overwrites all the previous $H!T she does. If she's soo "traumatized" of her sentence, maybe she should have made better choices with her worthless excuse of a human life. what a crappy flawed system.

and the part was they put her in special needs housing unit....she basically got a paid vacation at tax payers expense. just goes to show that the law discriminates against the poor, ordinary everyday people.

Of course. It is no secret that money will buy their way out of crimes while poor people do the time.
