This year Daylight saving time came earlier than I ever remember. Like it was just new years and now we are almost six months into the year. The kids are growing up so fast we have to do a double take when we wake up and see them the next day. That is some of the things I noticed tell me what you see!

The truth of the matter is time is actually speeding up!! The UNIVERSE is growing at record speeds which means time is actually going faster. I know it's hard to visualize or really grasp but time is proven to be speeding up. Google "time speeding up" you'll be surprised at what you find. It might also lead you to 2012(year), Mayans and biblical predictions. I personally got lost researching the Mayans for a few weeks. I was just amazed at how advanced they where and how they could create a calender B.C that is still accurate till this day. This stuff is so ironic it's almost creepy! I can't say I completely believe it all but it sure makes for an interesting read!!
I can assure you that your not the only one who feels that time is "flying by" and it has nothing to do with the government or daylight savings time. It has to do with space and time.
Do some research you'll be amazed at what you find. There's a ton of new information that is actually proven by science. Enjoy!!

Even Einsteins "Theory of Relativity" is intertwined with time and time speeding up.

I'd love to hear other comments on this issue!!!

Well, I guess it is if you think Congress can speed up time by changing when daylight savings time starts. Nature probably doesn't care much about that, but Congress has done it's part to help global warming by giving us 3 extra weeks of daylight savings time spring and fall.

Seriously though, the sense of time speeding up has to do with aging. It happens to each of us. When we are very young we have few memories and each new experience is felt to the fullest. As we age, we have more memories and fewer new experiences. Those things that happen the same today as yesterday and the day before kind of blur together with fewer new memories being formed.

Daylight savings time is arbitrarily set by the authorities. It has nothing to do with how fast time is going. Kids grow up some faster and some slower. That is simply human nature and has nothing to do with the speed of time.

Daylight savings time came earlier because the law changed.

As far as time speeding up, that is one of the consequences of growing older, been there, doing that!

The president changed when daylight savings time began. No, time is not speeding up. We measure it by the decay of an atomic nucleus, and that cannot be changed. It's all in your head.

I agree with Chad K and there is proof that time is speeding up. I know of young people that complain that time goes too fast. It is said that near and in "end times", time will speed up so that suffering wont as last long.

On a totally unscientific level, i sometimes do feel that the fabric of time is pinching and speeding up, but it's funny, banderas is right. it is probably just a symptom of feeling older.

I don't know about you but the older I get the faster time seems to go by, it does not of course, it just seems that way.
