it is a wireless connection which works under the range of approx 10ms, normally found in smartphones to transfer any type of data like audio/video/data files among phones. you just have to switch it on to make it work and then you have to search for another bluetooth device(any phone or a pc with a bluetooth dongle) which you want to share the data with. after you find that particular device, connect to that and you can transfer any type of data.

Bluetooth is a type of wireless connection. It works like any other wireless connection, by a radio signal. It is commonly used in cell phones.
