In the spirit of sharing... you can draw your own conclusions...

I'm Deaf.

I'm a woman

I'm white, in a West African country

I'm not a Muslim, this West African country is 90%-95% Muslim

I'm determinedly single, and the people just do not understand this. They're forever trying to get me to marry their brother/son/friend

Having said all that, I experience relatively little discrimination. Most of the time it's because I'm Deaf.

I'm female, over 40, an immigrant, not as white as people think I should be.
If I was also fat, bald, lesbian and Deaf I would have a full house. As it is I don't think I face any more discrimination that average.

I a teacher who has worked in a number of foreign countries. It is quite often thought by nationals, regardless of your training and experience, that just because you wer'n't trained in that country, you are some how, as if it was some kind of natural law, inferior to any of their teachers.

I am a vegetarian, many people judge me in a bad way on this.
I really don't see what is wrong with choosing not to eat animal products, how does this make me a bad person?

Being a female in a male dominated job (IT Sales). My colleague who I've worked with for 12 years earns £10k a year more than me just because he's a man.

Weight Discrimination.

A girl got promoted ahead of me in my last job, because she was slimmer and prettier. I had been there longer, had more qualifications, and she was only 17.
