I'm actually glad...now Jordin will win by a landslide.
I was sick of looking at "no neck" Melinda every week.

I was very shocked, I thought that after the performances on Tuesday that Jordin, should have been the one going home, I mean she just did not preform as well as Melinda or Blake, and Melinda was the best of the night. I am a big Blake fan, but I had realized that Melinda was going to win this whole thing. I was just hoping that it came down to Melinda and Blake, because Jordin annoys me for some reason, I just don't like her, I am not saying she can't sing, but just that I am annoyed by her. However it doesn't really matter that Melinda got voted off, because look at Chris Daughtry he is doing better than last years top 2, and Clay Aiken )who I don't like but apparently a lot of people do) is doing better than Ruben Studdard. Melinda will be just fine, and will most likely have a very successful career. Know I just hope that Blake wins this, know that it is between him and Jordin, although I know it is probably rigged and Jordin will win, no matter what.

It was a shocker, but AI isn't just a talent competition, it's a popularity contest and Blake and Jordin are more popular. To those that say AI is rigged, I wouldn't believe anything that Howard Stern says, he's such a joke. Blake and Jordin were just more popular than Melinda. We all know that people don't always vote for the most talented. Jeez...look how long Sanjaya stayed in the competition.

No I about came unglued! She is an awesome singer and I believe that if Melinda and Jordin battled it out, it would have been a tight race, unlike the land slide voting last night.

65% of American Idol viewers are ages 14-30.....Melinda is a great singer but she does have the star power to make it like Blake and Jordin do.....Blake and Jordin are younger and appeal the younger crowd which is why they are in the finale...I have watched Idol since the 1st Season and never miss a show....and to be honest with you all.....as great as a singer as Melinda is I can picture her turning out to be another Taylor Hicks and Ruben Studdard.....look at them....The two American Idol winners and YOU HEAR NOTHING ABOUT THEM.....if America liked him so much why did he disappear in thin air?????????
Look at Kelly....a Household Name
Look at Carrie.... A Houseld Name
see what im getting at.....

I'm not that shocked. She was more an adult favorite, than a younger set favorite. She is gonna do just fine. Look at past season runners up. Some doing better or as good as the actual winner. When you make it this far on Idol, you're a winner anyway! Thats my take on it.

I was pretty shocked but I agree the young kids voting kept Jordin & Blake on. Melinda is awesome and she will do fine.

I can...she was really really good there is no doubt about that....but to me that is the point...she is good, if oyu have noticed a LOT of the former contestants that desrved to be in the finals and or totally didn't have gone on to do really great things with their futures..........some of the winners haven't really done as good as some that were voted off early.....go figure

No, I can't. I thought she was going to win the whole thing. I was fully prepared to be really pissed off last night when Blake was voted out, but...hey, what a wonderful surprise! The finale is going to rock now!
