Death in Thessaloniki by Jovan Parlapanov. It is also a history novel. It shows the life of Macedonians in Greece before the persecution in 1948. The message is that no nation should experience the tragedy that these people did. All of that was caused by geed, human madness and fanaticism.

Pillars of the Earth by Ken Follett - Historical Fiction during England's civil war (Stephen & Empress Maude). Excellent novel about a family of stonemasons and their trials and tribulations. If you like history, you'd love this book, well researched and written.

A pictorial history of Mistress Elizza Lioncourt in the nude. It is 14,954 pages long. Page 6,530 is virtually impossible to believe until you account for the fact that it was taken while orbiting Jupiter.

I started reading "the jesus papers" about two weeks ago. its very very interesting but not the easiest to read. alot of the phrases, names and places are in aramaic. the book tends to jump back and forth and back and forth from one place to another and one time era to another but overall the book is good. it really makes you think about what we've been "taught" about jesus and the christian religion.
