I'm also having bsnl connection. So far no problem for me. Perhaps
you would have seen your account usage on website even before
closing the bill. you may once again see the usage on the site NOW. Still if there is discrepancy, just ignore;'because, when compared to their tariff and service, it is an ignorable error. Wait
for the next error [I hope it will not be repeated] All the best!

Hi,

Can't tell you which one is correct, but you should definitely call BSNL customer care and ask them why they billed you those 24 MB extra. Its probably a system error or something.

Meanwhile, its better you switch to an unlimited download / upload package. If you analyze your bills for the last few months you will probably find that you are paying almost the same amount as the unlimited package.

1.Does the bill show data usage in MB ?
How much MB addl usage you have been charged above 1GB(= 1024MB)

2.My usage till 1700 on 17th may. extract by DUF given
below
( I am on line again from 1700 hours ! or my computer is connected to DATAONE )
Download DataUsage Finder Version 1.7a for use with IE from
http://duf.sourceforge.net/ or www.shaplus.com

When converting to GB this difference can happen.
Total Usage
.563 GB
576.38 MB
590210 KB ( extract by DUF )

If you had used FireFox with addon Adblock Plus you could have saved at least300Mb. Add Datafox 0.8 and monitor every day your usage in the Task Bar.
If you want to switch to IE( or addicted to IE) from FF another addon IETAB is available. TRY.
Just now mine is showing in the TaskBar:
Up: 0.076GB Down: 0.487GB.
Total .563GB
The Rs 30 you want refund will be spent in Auto/Bus fare
to the DOT office. Simply send e mails to CC and see whether they give credit in your bill for May.( you have to send the web page extract ( showing the totals dl and ul etc )
