I just downloaded the King's Quest Collection and I don't know what these files are. Somebody help me. I just want to play a friggin game. Is there something I should have to play them? It's Disc 1 and 2 of the collection.

The MDF file is a CD image file, and MDS is the corresponding catalog file. Software such as 'Alcohol 120%' reads this catalog file so that it knows how to burn the MDF file. You can play the movie directly from the burned CD. Download the trial version of Alcohol 120% from their web for free:

U don't have to burn them, just add virtual CD on the windows and upload it to the virtual CD drive.
there's couple of programs u can use such as Nero, Virtual CD, Alcohol 120% or Daemon tools.
