No. The Suns are not better without Amare. Last night they were able to hang tough but in the 4th quarter where they were not able to make a field goal, his inside presence would have definitely helped open the game up. He is a player that draws a double team and they missed that along with his scoring down the stretch. They are good without Stoudemire because they still have a lot of talent but they need him in the middle to become a great team.

No, Amare's suspension was the main reason why the Suns lost last night. Although the Suns basically led the entire game, had Amare played, the Suns would have been able to pull away with the lead in the last three or four minutes of regulation instead of letting the Spurs catch up with them. If Amare had played, the Suns would have easily won by 15+ points. Amare's absence was the reason it was such a close game, decided in the final seconds.

Yeah in some cases yeah he should just be a back up, and he does slow them a little with all those fouls of his, then again he does offer the Suns some D and now that that's said No they shouldn't get rid of him he blocks a lot of shots and can rebound and when Nash does his thing it gets Amare all fired uo

Are you stupid or what the guy averages 20 points and 10 rebounds and almost won All Star MVP. Do you really think that didn't play at all in to the Suns's success? Why don't you guys tell Steve Nash to go post up Duncan!!

i think of Amar'e this is speedier and has extra shooting ability than Howard. yet whilst it includes longevity and interior sport, Dwight could win. He has an excellent ability to snatch and block the ball interior, this is surprisingly much impossible to give up him or flow trought him. D12 is extra constructive than Amar'e anway. So, he gets benefit.

Bit of a ball hog, and monopolizes the ball without much dishing, and getting other people involved...I would almost say that they are a better team. I was surprised they made it as far last year without him..
