Yes, hats should be allowed in school. Hats have long been seen as a fashion accessory, like purses, jewelry, and some glasses. As a fashion accessory, a hat serves an important purpose. Women have long worn hats to church and nobody complained of the view. Hats are a part of the wardrobe sometimes, and they should be allowed at school.

It is not the fact that it is blocking other peoples view, it is the fact that it could be blocking yours or distracting others. Come on, we should know by now that the students in High Schools do sometimes show signs of A.D.D. They can stare at things for a long time. It is also rude to cover your eyes or face while someone is talking to you. They should be able to see your eyes, same as you.

Yes, I think they should definitly be allowed. Hats have a real god function in winter it keep you ears warm and in summer it keep your head from burning in the sun. I think there should however be rules on what hats your allowed to wear, to prefent people from being ridduculiss. Some people might think its funny to wear a jack in a box hat... I would go totally overboard and wear a witch hat!
Maybe they should be taken off while in class aswell, since they can be a little distracting and I guess if you have to take them of durring class then I can wear a witch hat. lol

Yes, I don't see what the big deal is. I know some schools will let girls wear them if it goes with their outfit I don't think that is fair to boys. As long as they don't have anything rude or vulgar on them and aren't so big they block someones view. Most kids wear ballcaps so what would be the big deal.

no because i went to a school where there was a big gang problem and if 2 rival gang members werein a class or in the hall it was like a easy target and that created some small danger for the rest of us because they were not all that respectable and would just start stuff with eachother no matter who was around or where they were
