Well I've been at it for 10 years.. and one thing I will tell you is that no two projects have ever been the same.

What do you need, what do you want it to look like, do you need a database backend, do you expect to sell products, what goals do you expect from your site, do you ......

Actually that is part of a list of about 200 questions.

A simple four or five page site - brochure type for advertising only is just a small thing -- probably 100-199 dollars. A complete web portal with shopping cart and stocked images, auto freight pricing, content management etc.. may be several thousand.

As a website designer/developer the cost of building a website(tailored to your needs) would depend on the features you need on that website( what you want people to be able to do on the website). But then, on my website turnkeymaker.com , I also offer already built websites to people seeking cheaper/ low cost websites with prices ranging from $125 to $350 depending on the type of website they need (Example:Photo Rating Website,Real Estate Website).

That depends on the complexity of the web site. I am a web developer by trade and have done it for 9 years. Just starting about a year ago, I started to do some freelance projects. I usually charge anywhere from $300 to $1200.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
