I always feel like something terrible has gone wrong in their life and they're really missing out right now.

I don't mean people who choose not to have kids because there are many reasons for that, but people who don't even like kids to be anywhere around them and get all angry when they have to be near one.

I am one of those people that hate being around spoiled kids...and nothing too traumatic has happened to me, I acutally had a good childhood. I enjoy children but if i am out somewhere and there are parentless kids running around with no manners, that makes me irritated.

I do sometimes feel sorry for them until I see one of them mistreat or ignore a child. Then I want to hurt them! I think people that have a hatred for children must have had some type of trauma. Or maybe they were an only child in a cold and quiet atmosphere where the natural noise from children were not allowed. Haters grow haters many times.
I have 4 children and they are the center of my universe. Watching them learn and grow and discover things for the first time is priceless. Their laughter is intoxicating and I know my life would not be the same without them.
Unfortunately many of the people who hate children are the ones who have them and many of them end up on the news doing unspeakable things to them.
I am a firm believer of people doing what they want and feeling the way they feel, but... if they hate children they should never and I mean never put themselves in a situation to be around them.
Children have the right to live and be happy just like anyone else and they know when people don't like them and they should never be subjected to such ugliness. They don't understand it and they should not have to.

No. I don't like kids. I've never had any terrible experiences in my life, and I don't feel I am missing out. It's just how I've been, I'm not a fan of children. They get on my nerves sometimes!!
But my fiancee has eight neices and nephews, and I don't get angry if I have to be around them, I'm sweet to them and I'll play with them. I'm happy to watch them even, but I know I'd never want one of my own because it's not a situation I'd want to be in day-in and day-out, 24/7. I'd lose my mind! Haha.
The people who get angry that they have to be around kids are just ridiculous. Suck it up! I think they're just angry people. If you chose not to have kids, obviously you're not around kids all the time. So what is one day going to hurt?

no, not really, I am not fond of kids, I love MY Kids, but even in high school, I never once babysat, I never had siblings and I could care less if a kid was cute or not. When I gave birth, my son was the first baby I had ever even touched, I have no cousins or little nieces or nephews. I have since gotten better, but still, I have to remind myself at church and school to give other children attention as well. I am not bad, I just don't care for children,I just don't notice them. I wouldn't work with them, I wouldn't be able to run a day care or anything of that sort. I strangley though, love my children and we have a big family. We have three boys and are pregnant with twin girls.

I don't feel "sorry" for them, but they are sure missing out. I wonder if the people that don't like kids forget that they were a kid once? Did people not like them and now they are just reciprocating the feeling?

All those vacations. Dining out. Peace and quiet. More money to spend. Yeah, feel sorry for them.

Amazing these people would actually become angry when kids scream, kick the backs of their airline seats, or run through stores like wild animals unsupervised. Cold, heartless child-haters, each and every one of them.

Some people simply can not have children. Some people forgot that they were a kid, at one time. Some people are better off with out kids, especially is they are only going to mistreat them.
Have a good day.

No I don't feel sorry for them. And it doesnt mean something went wrong in their lives its just a choice they are making. And frankly if they are choosing not to have kids or be around kids its obviously a good choice to keep kids away from them.

I don't feel sorry for people who don't like kids, I thank the fact the don't have them because it is people that don't like kids who end up having them and mistreat and abuse them. I, a mommy of two beautiful kids can't imagine hating kids, but some do and just be thankful, they don't have kids.
