I am wondering since they have brought back a few castaways that we havent seen in a while, if they will be the ones to die. I felt they played up the whole charlie must die thing last night, plus we know he wont die or at least dude was wrong about his vision of them being rescued, (since the show doesnt end until 2010). what do you think of last nights episode?

FINALE "THROUGH THE LOOKING GLASS" The finale is full of action, a few deaths -- and that huge twist I mentioned earlier. First, the deaths. A bunch of Others get killed when they try to raid the camp. This includes Friendly, who Sawyer shoots in cold blood -- and also the other new tough guy Other (I think his name is Price) who gets run over by Hurley in the van. And Charlie FINALLY dies. Thank god. I've always thought he was one of the weaker characters and his death has been threated in so many episodes its about time it finally happened. He unblocks the jamming signal in the underwater station but drowns when Mikhail uses a grenade to blow it up, killing them both. It's a cool death for Charlie. Maybe cooler than he deserves. Another big moment is when an old favorite of the show returns. Locke is just about to kill himself in the Dharma grave pit that he fell into after Ben shot him when he hears a voice telling him not to. He looks up to see...WALT!! Walt helps him out of the pit and then disappears. No sign of Michael, and there's no explanation about where Walt has been or what happened to him or Michael. Locke then makes it to the Radio Tower -- and gets there in time to kill Naomi just before she makes the rescue call. He throws a knife straight into her back. Jack can't understand what Locke is doing and tells him that he'll have to shoot him to stop him from making the call himself. Locke threatens to kill Jack, but then backs down. Jack makes the rescue call -- and someone on the other end answers. The story on the island ends with help on the way. Or maybe not. Ben has told Jack that Naomi and her people aren't who they say they are -- and just before he dies, Charlie sees a transmission in the underwater hatch from Desmond's Penny -- who, contrary to what Naomi has said, denies that she knows Naomi at all!! But the HUGE TWIST of the episode -- in fact, probably the huge twist of the entire series -- happens in the flashback. They start by showing that Jack is totally ****** up. He's popping pills and suicidal. The first flashback shows him about to kill himself by jumping off a bridge -- only a car accident nearby causes him to stop, and instead of killing himself he fins himself helping the accident victims. But he keeps spiraling. He sees his ex-wife at the hospital -- she's pregnant with another man's child. He goes to a funeral of a person that we never discover, but whoever it is, his (or her) death rocks Jack hard. He steals drugs from the hospital and is caught by the new doctor in charge. And all the time, he's constantly on the phone desperately trying to contact somebody. And the last scene shows us who...he goes to meet the mystery person, and it's the last person on earth we would think...it's KATE! And it's now that we realize that for the first time in Lost history, we haven't been watching a flashback. We've been watching a FLASH-FORWARD! Yep, that's right. THEY ACTUALLY SHOW THAT JACK AND KATE MAKE IT OFF THE ISLAND. For some reason, this has been the cause of Jack's spiral. He tells Kate they have to go back to the island. She refuses and drives away. The show finishes with Jack screaming "We have to go back!!" It's a bold move by the writer's no doubt, but I'm not sure if it will pay off entirely. It raises many other questions -- how did they get off the island, did anyone else get off the island, who stayed behind -- but on a show that has been all about our heroes trying to get back home, its kind of disappointing to know that Jack and Kate actually return to the mainland and that they could stay there if they want. The twist is bound to cause huge discussion among Lost fans. I felt it was a bit of a cheat, but maybe others will like it more... Hope enjoyed the scoop.

Not as good as last week, but good. I can't wait for the season finally next week. I am going to watch the special tonight with the producers to try to get more info.

Desmond doesn't know when things will happen. I don't think Charlie is going to die - yet. Next week's episode shows Desmond going in after Charlie and the Lost crew get caught by the Others.

I still don't trust Juliet either. She said that the under water station where Charlie went to was empty. But we know now that there are people on there with guns. Maybe she didn't know. Maybe Ben didn't tell the rest of the Others everything he knows about the island.

I think they may have brought back some Lost characters to kill them off. I don't think they will be killing off many of the main characters anytime soon. I also don't think Locke is dead. I don't think Ben will go anytime soon either, but I think Locke will end up killing him. I think Jacob wants him to.

Last night's episode was kind of ho-hum......like the quiet before the storm! Next week is going to be so good. Does everyone know that there is a recap show on tonight at 10:15 (EST - USA)? I know that sometimes they are cheesy, but sometimes they actually remind me of things I've forgotten.

Anyways - I unfortunately think that Charlie is going to die. And, for some reason, I think Kate will be quick to follow - either this season or next. (Might have something to do with them dating in real life and having no home in Hawaii?)

Desmond does not know the WHEN's, until it happens. SO therefore he COULD be correct and Claire and Aaron will be on a helicopter... that won't arrive till 2010.

I liked it a lot. I don't think the Losties who were on the screen last night will die just because we haven't seen them in a while.

Can't wait till the two hour finale next Wed!

RT and Fluff, if you didn't see last nights episode yet why did you click to see the question?

Well, I'm going to be real upset if they kill off Rose and Bernard - we may not have seen them in awhile, but I like those two. I read somewhere (may have been here) that 7 people are supposed to die, with any luck, 5 will be Others. I'm still p****d that no one has really called Jack on his duplicity. His "you chose me to be a leader" doesn't just quite cut it with me. What started out as a strong character has turned into a Hitler wannabe with definite delusions of grandeur. And I still don't trust Juliet.
FYI: You didn't force anyone to click on this and get the show spoiled for them. Self-control is everyone's personal responsibility.

You may be right; when a show introduces or re-introduces characters, it is usually to set them up for a fall, i.e. the red-uniformed security guys in Star Trek.

Charlie has come too far, to be eliminated. It is possible the the vision was really meant for the seer. The Scottish dude will go to the underwater station, and save Charlie from the chicks who captured him.

First off to Fluff and company: not everyone is from the UK or abroad. You can't expect everyone to put spoiler alerts on every question. Nobody had guns to your head telling you to read it, did they? I would have stopped after the 1st sentence if I didnt want to know more

Ok,,soapbox preaching over :) Next..last night's episode showed us why we fell for Lost in the beginning...these last few weeks have been top notch!

Who needs to live: Charlie, Desmond, Sayid, Locke, Claire/Aaron, Sun,Jin and Hurley. Everyone else is fair game >)

Charlie will die this season because the actor does not want to continue.

Episodes like last night are frustrating because they create more questions than they answer!

Huh!? 2010!? I haven't watched an episode of it yet and don't intend to. If it is a reality show, as I have always suspected, do you believe the people will really die on the show? If you don't, you shouldn't get so involved.
