You have the same one for life unless you request a change, but they will only do that if your number has been used for fraud or something along those lines............

No .. what you do is go to your local social security office and fill out an application for a new social security card with your new last name ... there's a place where you put in your maiden name. They just update their records and reprint you a card with your married name.

No you just go to the social security office and change your name, just need your marriage lic. same number but just with your new name
