Melinda goes home, best singer ever on that show! Guess that saves me from watching the finals and all.

I am glad, I didn't watch. I heard this morning on the radio. I am so done with this show. It is so fake. Have a great day.

A lot of the time the winner beats the best singers. Clay Aiken was the best singer and he didn't win.
Elliott Yamin was better than Taylor Hicks and Elliott didn't win.
It would have been more interesting if the finals had been Melinda and Jordin. That would have been a contest. I guess Melinda was too grownup for the target audience.

That would be nice. But Simon did say on Tuesday, that if the voting was for "singing" that Melinda and Jordin would be there. That's obviously not what happened.
If the show continues, they seriously need to change the voting system. Blake is ok - but not in the same caliber as Melinda...never was.
But kudos to her - no tears, no sadness & she rocked that song to close the show. â¥

I am shocked and angry about Melinda being voted off. She is the best and should have been the next idol. With Blake still there you know it is a popularity contest more than anything. This fan of idol is not watching any longer.

No, it's not quite that bad. I still have a favorite left. I wanted Melinda to win. But the other are still good. I like both of them and I also believe the two remaining will also each have recording contracts offers, don't you, too.

Right? I didn't watch last night because I was so dog tired, but I saw it this morining that Melinda was voted off and almost fell off the sofa!!!!! Popularity contest,,,pure and simple, not a singing contest anymore....pitiful!!!!

Yes we can and never bring it .back .....you know since your not happy with the out come ...you should tell everybody not to vote...and then when they look at the results it will say 0...what do u think they would do...the judges will actually have to pick the winner.. ...that would be soo funny ...=)

I agree, did you see how dissapointed Simon looked? I think everyone was surprised. Oh well, I still think her career will be bigger then any of the other contestants.

I say keep on going. I hope Blake wins, but I hope the last three finalists all get record deals cause I think they all deserve it.
