A week or two would be nice.

I bet you work for the same company as me..... lol
My boss changes them whenever he feels like, sometimes days before, I went into work at the time I had down only to find out he had changed it the day before and was supposed to start 2 hours earlier
Should be 3 weeks, rotas usually should be up four weeks in advance.

It's always best to give two weeks notice before quitting a job. Leaving on good terms will give you a better chance of getting back in in the future if you find yourself in such a position. However, your boss may be changing your shift in order to get you to quit. In which case, it makes it harder to collect unemplyment benefits if you quit your job rather be fired.

If you are at will...with no contract...only reasonable notice...most likely a day....as an at will employee you have no right to a certain shift and it can be changed at any time.

It's usually 2-4 weeks

that depends on your contract of employment / is it a one off change or a permanent change/ are you already a shift worker?
Either way i would consider a reasonable minimum notice for a temporary change in hours to be 24 hours to allow for any needed domestic changes to be made

None at all. Employers really don't hire people with lives and family's of their own, they hire things needed to fulfill certain roles to increase profit, if those things no longer fill that roll then its time to terminate them and get new ones.

Think of it this way, would you wear a jacket that no longer kept you warm just because you've had it for awhile.

four weeks notice, you need to give them, but you also need to write a letter, why you are changing your shifts, also go and speak to your local union rep, they will help you, if you need more information then go to your local citizens advice office they are great, hope that helps, all the best

First you should find out if he will let you change your shifts, then work it out with him when you can change.

you should check contractual hours as you need to have agreed to work certain hours.

Other than that a reasonable time would be 4 weeks/1 month
