Nosycap9 is right. Use rear window glue available from an auto parts store or the automotive section of a big box retailer. Unlike other glues that would work, this glue will be both strings and optically clear.
Gorilla Glue would hold, but would be visible as a yellow foam through the glass. Super glue would be iffy in this situation - unless you have a pristinely clean surface and very positive connection between the 2 pieces.
2-part epoxy would be a good second option, but depending on the brand and formulation, it can be slightly yellow.

Superglue can be effective. If it's too heavy for that, I'd look in the Yellow Pages for a glazier (under glass). I don't know for sure, but it seems like they'd be able to use their fire thingy (sorry the correct name escapes me---but the little cylinder that shoots out fire)to re-fuse it,
Good luck!

A clear epoxy, usually found in a dual chamber syringe will have a modest ability to hold. The issue is the Non porous nature of glass.
If anything will "hold" it will still be a tenuous bond, and best be kept in a place where it won't be touched, or bumped around.

Try the adhesive for reattaching rear view mirrors on cars. You can get it at automotive stores or Wal-mart.
