hi, my last period started 17th april, i had my implanon implant taken out on the 30th april (around the time i thought i would be ovulating!) but then, last thursday i had all the signs that i was ovulating???? more than a week later. i thought my period had started yesterday but it was just a pinky/brown discharge, and it's still like that now but no period. i have done a few preggo tests but they are all negative, please help. could the implanon implant have messed up my cycle? i don't usually keep track of how long my cycle is, but i have had no pms symptoms. just been a bit crabby.

I don't know much about the implant, but I know that any kind of stress could have an effect on your cycle. It might not be a bad idea to call you OBGYN and ask about it. They might be able to help, also you may want to check the website of the maker of the implant and see if there is any information about side effects and the possibility of skipping. Hope this helps!

I'd say you're out of sync which usually happens when you finish any sort of contraception. my friend had her implanon implant removed before you had yours taken out and she's only just had a period. stop worrying you'll come on soon enough when your body is ready. best wishes

I think when you come off birth control - it may take a month or so for your body to adjust back into the 'rhythm of life'
check with your physician - they should know

usually when you come off birth control it messes with your cycle.
