Hi : ]
These are my guesses:-
* J.K likes to buld up importance of characters as the books go on, like mentioning vague hints about Sirius in book 1 and luna in book 4 etc. Because of this i think Luna and Neville are going to play major roles in the last book.

*Harry will probably have to return to Hogwarts even though he says he won't as it is most likely a horcrux is hidden there- e.g in the the room of requirement. Also because of the school logo appears in every book.

* Even though Dumbledore dies Harry will still be able to communicate with him through the portrait in the Headmaster's office.

* Also Harry says he will return to Godric Hollow to visit his parents grave. J.K may be indicating that she will reveal what actually happened on the night of the murder of Harry's parents.

* My shrewdest guess is that Hermione and Ron will both die together trying to protect Harry.

* J.K Rowling has also told us she will reveal something extremely important about Harry's mother and Aunt Petunia. She told readers that they would discover something significant about Lily Potter in book 5.

* I think the guy above, Wolverlini is correct in saying Snape made an unbreakable vow. This seems the only logical reason, (coming to mind) for not killing Harry.

*Voldemort will definitely be defeated in this book. But knowing J.K there be a unsuspected plot through out the book which none of us ever expected.

What does everybdy else think?

hhhmmm... Being the nerd I am, I memorized all 7 books and all the movies that are out- 7/8. I think maybe you should get a spell.. incantation done. that could be cool. Get something in latin or something. Get a HP book in a different language and run an online translator to find a quote you like from the english version, and get it done in the other language. Be sure you know how to say it in the other language too. There are Harry Potter bands (500+)... listen to some of the songs, and maybe get some lyrics tattooed? Like 'House of Awesome', '99 Death Eaters', 'Snape vs. Snape'... stuff like that. Ministry of Magic is a good band, as well as Moaning Myrtles, Whomping Willows.... just look up Wizard Rock (sorry I'm really into linguistics)

My best guesses:

1. Harry is not a horcrux! (This idea makes no sense in light of the prophesy for one, and why would Voldemort put part of his soul into someone he might have to fight anyway).
2. Pettigrew still has a debt to Harry and that debt will be collected upon.
3. Neville will find his strength and confidence.
4. Bill Weasley's marriage will be the scene of a big fight, and maybe the death of one of the major characters.
5. Draco Malfoy will not be a major factor, unless he admits to himself that he is in over his head with the Deatheaters and turns coat.
6. We will find out that Harry is Dumbledore's heir, and among the things he gets is the pensieve and a bunch of very instructive memories.
7. Finally, about Snape:
Snape is Snape. He is beyond the sort of simplistic categorization as "good" or "evil", IMHO. I do believe he is not as evil as he appeared at the end of HBP. It would take too much space to really go into this in detail, but consider this:

It is well known that Snape played the double-agent prior to the death of Harry's parents, and there is no reason to believe he wasn't still a double agent on the anti-Voldemort side. Why then did he bind himself to the success of Draco's mission and then actually kill Dumbledore?
My answer: Dumbledore knew that destroying Slytherin's ring had fatally wounded him and Snape knew so too. Therefore he allowed himself to be bound to Dumbledore"s death, a death he knew was imminent and against which he knew Dumbeldore had taken precautions to ensure that his death would not derail the anti-Voldemort movement.

Now, on the other hand, if Snape has turned coats; why did he not kill Harry* or disable him and take him helpless to Voldemort? JKR made it clear that Harry is no match for Snape as a wizard (yet). If you look at Snapes "taunts" at Harry and put them into anyone else's mouth, they're very good advice on what Harry needs yet to learn to fight strong adult wizards on anything like equal terms.
My answer is that Dumbledore at some point shortly after Harry was orphaned made Snape take an unbreakable vow to protect Harry. This fits in perfectly with Snape's actions toward Harry in the books thus far. Yes, Snape is a mean SOB to Harry, but that is Snape's personality, and he didn't vow to be nice to Harry after all.

My conclusion is that in Book Seven, Snape will act covertly and eventually overtly to aid Harry, that he will likely live, and that Harry will be just as in the dark over Snape's motivations as when Harry entered Hogwarts. (BTW, the above is why I don't think Harry will die. If I'm right, then Snape dies too if Harry dies, and Snape is the ultimate survivor).

*My reading of the prophecy is that there is no requirement that either has to directly kill the other, just that one no longer lives, so I think Snape certainly could have killed Harry and talked his way out of it afterwards

I agree on the weasley thing considering there are so many of them the probability is at least one will die, also more than one person will die obviously
Howwever if you go to jkrowling.com you'll see she's not much into people speculating like this so I doubt she would give anything away even unintentionally

I think that either (althought I hate to say it) Lupin or Hagrid is going to die. They are all that Harry has left father-wise and it would be an emotional blow to him as well as everyone else in the novels.

Harry's gonna die, that's like, confirmed. The Weasley who might die could be Ginny;knowing Voldy,he would've definitely found out about her relationship with Harry.
I also think that Hagrid's gonna die;Voldy's gonna kill everyone who's close to Harry to get to him, right?
