It depends on the illness. MS is so very painful there is no cure and most of the medications do not help.
It should be legal for some of illnessess - like MS - Parkinson's - Cancer - my daughter has brain cancer and is in lots of pain ALL the time.
There are doctor's in the United States that do write prescriptions to eleviate pain for certian medical conditions.
Don't know why they do NOT legalize it - - - been around a very long time and the government STILL has no idea how to stop it from being grown, purchased and sold, and they NEVER will.

It substitute right into a mistake to make it unlawful in the 1st place, and that is going to be legalized concern to a similar regulations as alcohol. Prohibition has never labored, if people elect something they're going to get it merely as they did with alcohol and as they do marijuana and cocaine now. there is likewise the undeniable fact that 80% of anyone in U.S. prisons are there for non-violent drug appropriate offenses. Channeling the money we waste attempting to enforce those unworkable rules into prevention with the aid of preparation and therapy may be a miles greater conceivable answer.

Yes, I think anything naturally grown from the earth should be allowed. Just have rules like no driving under the influence. I personally don't use it but I don't think it's a big deal.

Is this 2 questions?
I think certain people would definitely benefit from cannabis. They take away its stoned effect though, so don't be so hopeful about a nice prescription to get stoned while watching daytime tv.
I'm bored sh*tless myself, but I don't think its an illness.

haven't they already isolated the active ingredient,THC, and made it available in pill form? If it really is for medical use, shouldn't that be enough? you really just want to justify smoking that stinky stuff. it does no one any favors-you become inert, say stupid things and look stupid while under the influence, gives you red rimmed eyes and body odor.

If a doctor thinks its helpful, why not. It's only illegal because congress thinks they know more about patient care then doctors.
