Personally, I think Blake should have gone. Melinda was too good to go. The season is ruined now.

I know. I believe Melinda Doolittle is willing to be strong and walk with the Lord according to His providential plan. She is a great person and singer. Her elimination shows how many people are way superficial! People might look on the outside, but the Lord looks on in the inside. Melinda Doolittle!

Melinda should have won the competition! She was NEVER in the bottom 3, ever during the entire time on the show. She always performed to perfection. I believe most everyone is shocked at her being voted off. My perception is that most of us wrongly assumed she had it made and sat back and didn't bother to vote. I am so ashamed of myself, because I am one of those people. I voted for one of the others that I wanted to be in second place, because I was so sure that others would be sure that Melinda was a sure thing. Now I feel really bad for her and mad at myself. The only redeeming factor in the entire fiasco is that she surely will be given a recording contract from someone.

i think melinda is really lovable, and is a talented singer, but found her voice a little -- well, not too pleasant. just because you sing well, doesn't mean you have a good voice. i like jordan better! i was deffi disappointed to see that she'd lost, but after chris daughtry being voted off, well, ntn on this show shocks me anymore!

you know it's america choice...unfortunately when you have a show that appeals to really young white girls the cute white boys tend to win...Besides I think this was the best thing that could happen for her...she is now out there a great public figure it won't be but a matter of days until the record companies are busting her door down...

there is no doubt that she is a good singer.. its just that she does not have the star factor... voters have voted for the young singers.. i hope she will have a great career she deserves it...
