Do not worry. It is only GASTRIC PAIN. Avoid consuming food items producing gas. Also restrict fat. You will find the difference in a weeks time.

By the way at the age of 21 what problem you could have for not getting proper sleep and you require Valarium ? Immediately stop this medication. You will be perfectly alright.-

I live in Canada, Ontario and so as far as the insurence and Dr.'s work I don't know. My husband had those very same symptoms for a month before I made him go to the Dr. and it turned out it was nothing more than anxiety. You do sound like you have alot of stress. I on the other hand didn't have half your symptoms, only the tingling in my left arm and my hand went numb, fatigue, light headedness and pain in my chest and I had a mild heart attack at 25 years old. The health care in the states is something I can hardly comprehend but I would get checked to make sure. My blood pressure and so on was ok. It was caused be stress and better safe than sorry, there are some heart attacks that people don't come back from. Good luck and I truly hope you feel better=)

When do you get such pain/discomfort? What are the circumstances that precipitate the pain?

Do they happen when you exert yourself (like walking, exercise, hard labor, etc,.. )? Or just when you are at rest (like sitting, sleeping)?

What does your diet compose of mostly? Do you usually have gas?

Anyway, have an EKG done. Consult a physician ASAP.

Is your life stressful.. or do you have panic attacks or just panic? cause stress and panic can cause pain.. as can depression and other things of the mind.. also lack of sleep and sitting still in a chair or bed can make muscles stretch and get sore and sometimes even painful.. hope this helps

It could be inflammation of the chest Cage. I suffer the same type of pain you are suffering from. My doctor told me it was inflammation of the chest Cage. Go and see your doctor for a diagnosis.

Could be inflammation of the cartilege between the sternum and ribs.

If it hurts when you push on the area, then it's not a heart attack.

you should have that checked asap, chest pain could be caused by many things. worst case its heart trouble, best case its some sort of muscle spasm.

dont risk it, get to the doc and ask to be referred to hospital for ecg's and alike.
