I just want to now cause i love cats i have one.

i think cats are better pets, cause they are more capable of taking care of themselves. also, they are softer and more cuddly.

I love ALL animals, so I bought 3 acres of land - I currently have 3 dogs, 2 cats, 6 ducks & 10 chickens, 2 goats & a horse :) We all go walking around the block together ~ my neighbours have even taken photos of the "group" walking along with and behind me!!

I have had both and prefer a dog. I need to be motivated to exercise, and there is nothing better than a dog who has to be walked several times daily. I also find dogs more fun to be with; they are not as independent as a cat.

I have had birds,fish,rabbits,hamsters,and dogs at different times,but cats seem to be the only pets i had continuously for the past 20 years,i love them,i currently have four of them,and one of the females is pregnant.

Depends on what sort of companion you want!!
I have both....cats are great cause they pretty much look after themselves ...but dogs are great too cause they really love you and are always happy to see you!!
As someone else said dogs motivate you to get some excersise!!

If you have a busy lifestyle then cat, they're very fun when small. Dog is definatly a mans best freind, but they need a lot more attention than cats.

Dogs, I have two and I am completely NOT a cat person. I like dogs better because they can be a bigger part of your life. I take my Lab to parties, camping, hiking Kayaking, he protects me and my house. He loving loyal and dedicated.

A cat. They clean themselves. If outdoors they will go to the toilet by digging a hole a burying it so there is no mess to clean up. They dont bark. They don't jump on you or lick you. they don't need to be walked. No one has ever been killed by a cat. Cats don't have lock jaw. Cats know where their home is and don't have to be fenced in. they don't dig holes all over the yard. I could go on for ever....

both are the same. can b bad n good. i recommend Fish. stay in one place n well behave. and easy to take care
