SOUNDS STUPID BUT PUT THEM IN COKE A COLA OVER NIGHT THERE COME UP REALLY GOOD

Don't clean them. Coins lose their value when cleaned. If you must though then use some acetone, it will remove dirt. Wash in water after and pat dry with a soft cloth. If anything has eaten in to the actual metal removing it will case a whole. Acetone is not strong enough to do that. It is best to leave them alone.

Do not clean the coins or you will reduce it's value. The best way to get them cleaned is to go to an antique shop and have them cleaned there. Leave it to the professionals.

here is a suggestion uhm u put the coins into a hot boiling water and then put alcohol on it using a towel or cloth
thats it lol i do this to my coins lol! and yeah to make it look new uhm u would put a polisher on it using an old cloth or what so ever lol

NEVER clean old coins. This advice was given to me by a museum.
