It overheated, and it shut itself off before it blew up (there's a safety device in there that does that). The problem is more than likely your fans - check that they working and not blocked by anything.

Mine did that but it was only a Capacitor that blew. I just gad to replace it then after that I had to fcuk with my computer for weeks to get it working. It was bad...
