Both were out of the team due to serious career threatening injuries,Ashish nehra has recovered from it and played the last domestic season.I am not sure if Balaji has recovered from injury,he didn't play in the last Ranji season. If the recover well and perform as before in the first class cricket, they should certainly be given chance,Both were good bowlers, but given the nature of injuries they suffered, its difficult to get into their old form and rhythm. Also there are quite a lot of fast bowlers in contention like Sreesanth,Zaheer khan,RP Singh,VRV Singh,Ajit Agarkar,Munaf patel,Ranadeb Bose,Irfan Pathan

Either of one(Laxmipathi balaji) should be given a chance.
lp balaji has ability to take wickets.he can swing the ball efficiently.he proved his ability in pak tour .
nehra is also a good wicket taker .
(fitness is required for them)

yes they sould be given a chance.ashish nehra was the bowler who got india into the final.his bowling of 6/43 against england is still memorable.balaji has just got bad luck when he had chances he was not fit.

I do not think so as they are spent force. Emphasis should be on young talent instead of going back to players already tried earlier..
