The best option is not to use a very poor anti virus like AVG, AVG misses more than it finds & even then it has trouble removing what it finds.

If i was you i would start in safe mode with system restore off & do a free online scan here:

http://www.bitdefender.com/scan8/ie.html

Then get yourself a good free anti virus program.

The better option is to put it in the virus vault then go to virus vault and delete it (virus). AVG free anti virus's HEAL option terminated the file. While MOVE TO VAULT option is to lock the virus on the vault.

It is better to move it to virus vault and delete it after scan. Restart you pc when scan completed.

Now, For you second question, "My comp at work has alot of trojan horses. It asks me to heal or move to virus vault. Which is the better option for removing them permanently?"

It is nice to use other antivirus. Actually, i dont have a great trust in AVG. Use instead "CA antivirus".

Heal is good for important files, as it can return the file to normal, if it can not be healed, or is just a pure virus in itself the virus vault is best, as it is then taken out of the system for good. You can empty the vault at intervals and AVG will remove them totally.

I agree thoroughly. i'm effective with those who had an coincidence (although surely preventable), and are promoting there mixed dogs at $50-one hundred in the adventure that they get them vet checked and their images. That way they insure the dogs can't a lab or for bait for dogs scuffling with earrings. I do although get ill to my abdomen at the same time as i'm out and spot someone promoting a poo this or a cocklier, and they want $500 and up for them. i love purebred dogs also. I commonly flow to a guard in the present day, yet I continuously have an theory of a few purebreds i might want to be very well with, and that i wait until eventually i hit upon one. i love purebreds, because you are able to study about the dogs, length, characteristics, and different issues. you in simple terms do not recognize what you have become with a mutt. The fashion designer mutt creators are literally not fascinated in some thing yet a short dollar. i imagine they breed mutts because they do no longer ought to pay to check in them or some thing then. you in simple terms ought to come back up with a stunning call, and placed a wide figure on it. those dogs are placed down known everywhere in the country, because maximum folk make an impulse purchase and discover later the dogs isn't some thing like they concept it would want to be, and then they promote off it on the guard out of impulse and the actuality they're to lazy to artwork with their dogs. that's in simple terms the way i think.

If it can heal it, thats basically removing the virus from the infected files, Move it only when healing fails, they will both disable the virus in its own way.

The Best plan of action would be to inform your IT Dept. but failing that, Healing them is preferable and if the heal fails then delete them (providing they are not critical system files)

Yes try healing first. Once you've done with avg you can try another free scanner to make sure you got everything.
