People are getting confused between the month and the zodiac sign. Yes, it is Ruby for July, but Cancer covers June and July and is Pearl...see link

Ah, I wish I had my Anna Riva book with me! There are quite a few for Cancer, unless you mean June. Cancer was Moonstone, Pearl, Ruby(maybe), Bloodstone, Emerald....Color for Cancer is Browns, Greens, and Blues. There are also several gems Cancerians are not supposed to wear in superstition, but I forget what they were. If you are looking for June's stones, they are Pearl and Alexandrite, a very rare stone. If you are looking for July, the stones are Ruby and Sardonyx. Hope that helps.
