What's the public transport? If its not too much of a problem, can I use the public transport to get down the yellow brick road because walking is wearing out my ruby red slippers?

You have 2 options... you can conversate with her on the transport and see where it goes... or you can get off at the same place she is and start the conversation there (so as not to be seen on public transport spittin' game).
Usually it's best to start a convo with a question about where she's going or where you're going or that you've never seen her on the transport before...
