My hamster (mother) has 5 offspring and they are now 2 weeks old. Just a while ago the mother bit the stomach of her 2 child. Probably they will die now. Do hamster really do this to their offspring.

i'm not real sure about why a mother hamster would bite her babies after 2 weeks, unless she felt threatened by a possible rival. female hamsters will fight to the death with another female hamster.

You should leave them alone, do not touch their offsprings. Let them handle them, do remember to separate the male and the mother, or the male might eat the offsrpings, too.
I hope I helped, all the best! :)

Sometimes I know mice and rats do if humans handle their young as they smell different, sometimes having the male in with the female when the babies are their is a bad idea as they tend to attack each other.
