Antivenin (antivenom). It is produced using the venom of a snake. Many people have severe reations to antivenin, and have to monitored carefully in a hospital. There is no home remedy for snakebites. Get to a ER if you have been bitten by a poisonous snake.
Some people believe you can "suck out the poison" from a snakebite. DO NOT do this, as you will wind up poisoning yourself thru your mouth, in addition to the snakebitten victim.

The antidote is made by colecting venom from a snake injecting a small portion in a large horse, not enough to seriously hurt or kill the horse. The immune system creates the antidote in the horse. The urine is collected and refrigerated until needed. This is done all to species of deadly snakes. The correct antidote must be use to the type of snake that did the attack.

The antidote is produced using the poison of a snake of the same species.
That's the reason why it's very helpful to give a description of the snake that has done the biting.
Find more information using "serum".
