While B-Movie fans such as myself regret the death of Lana Clarkson this question is more about Phil Spector's contributions to music.

How much do you personally believe Spector really contributed popular music? Is his legend mostly hype or did the "Wall of Sound: really change 60's Rock?

Phil Spector is a genius when it comes to the longevity of his career.But he's obviously a cold blooded killer.

I do think he changed the music industry, however, he's always been a really strange man. He's been known to pull guns on girls at his house many times over the years when they were ready to leave and he didn't want them to go. I think he will be convicted of Lana Clarksons death.

Genius for creating some of the most dramatic music ever... still doesn't excuse his actions. Maybe if he was a rapper....
