The most accurate way to find out if someone is pregnant is thru a blood test where they check for a hormone called HCG. When it rises it indicates a pregnancy. You would need to see an OB/GYN about this.

See a Gynaecologist, they can do a blood test.
If you are trying to conceive then request the doctor to provide a kit, it is an all natural method to conceive, doctor or nurse will explain every thing do not just walk out with the kit, ask for help without asking most doctors will think you know every thing about it.
If you are trying to avoid the pregnancy then request the doctor to explain various methods and practise the one that is suitable for you and your partner's life style. Keep in mind most methods are good only 50 to 95 percent.
