you can't check anything on the net without having a internet connection
you will need to go to a friends house that do have internet connection to check your e-mail

No.. You can read your old emails still but you won't be able to fetch new ones without being able to connect to the mail server from your ISP.

You would have to find a computer, cell phone or PDA with an INTERNET CONNECTION to check E-Mail
