There are so many differant opinions,,, what is a 'success"

The fruits of your parenting will really show when your child enters the real world and puts into practice what they've learned from you (either good or bad). I suppose as long as my children stay out of jail and on the right side of the law I've been pretty successful. It doesn't matter if they are gay, straight, Democrat, Republican, waitress or CEO, I will be happy for them.

Well my parenting years are far from over as my youngest is only three, but when my daughters and son are old enough to make wise choices and finish their education,I will be closer and when they are all grown with happy well adjusted, non-dysfunctional lifes of their own I will know I did a job well done.
