I still don't understand the sentence - what can 'block their victims' mean? Or how can it be changed to be something meaningful. I think perhaps 'them' should be changed from a pronoun to a noun, and 'block' should be changed to 'trap'. And we can replace 'their victims' with 'them'. Humm a very different sentence!

She thinks that their enemies had destroyed the cave entrance to trap them.

3. Remove 'make her' - it is redundant.
Add a comma after 'again' to make the meaning clear.

4. Change 'was' to 'is' in two places to match tense of 'remembers' and 'connects'.
