that depends on the speed of your internet if your updating by the net,

next it also depends on the speed of your computer when it comes to installing sp2 this can take an hour plus to install

it backs up your hard drive before it installs, just in case things go wrong so watch were it puts your back up system. cause if everything works just fine you can delete that folder later, it take up to 10 gig of space

depends how much stuff you have.
for me took around 30 to 40 min because it backs up registrys then installs SP2 just in case of failure.
