They would have to absolutly have to ellect Owens to the Hall of Fame. I am far from a fan of his, but the numbers speak for themselves. Owens has aleady gone over 800 receptions and has caught 114 touchdowns in his career which supasses Hall greats such as James Lofton (764 & 75), Michael Irvin (750 & 65), Lynn Swan (336 & 51), or even Fred Biletnikoff (589 & 76). Only Steve Largent has more receptions at 819 to Owens 801, but Owens still holds the advantage in touchdowns with 114 to Largents 100. Without a doubt, he should be there. I'm sure that there are bigger a** holes in the HOF.

No one has been kept from the hall of fame for a bad attitude. I don't think he has the career stats for the hall of fame, though.

No current hall of famers have 114 TDS?

Most Touchdowns, Career
208 Jerry Rice - Soon
175 Emmitt Smith - Soon
145 Marcus Allen - Current - 145 is more than 114

I think he is marginal but another year or two makes it definite.

The only Hall of Fame lock receiver active now is Marvin Harrison. He will probably be joined eventually by Owens, Moss, Johnson, and Smith.

Probably. But by todays lax standards, Ricky Williams would be considered.

The Hall-of-Fame in most sports has about 10-15% of a marginal membership. That's just my opinion.

With your appropriate wording, NO. I think he will belong in the Hall but short of some strange change in him I don't think they will ever let him in.

Hey bag I think he meant 114 touchdown RECEPTIONS. Most of us UNDERSTAND that. Rice ISN'T in the Hall yet. Rice WILL BE when he is eligible but still isn't in yet.
Oh and as to the idea that bigger Aholes are in the Hall you said yourself Irvan was in, made it wasn't bad attitude but he shouldn't have been in if we want to talk about troublemakers.
