I'm sure a lot of engineering students went through a similar situation. Any personal experience or ideas??

Your area of interst play a very important role. In case you are not decided opt for the best college which is available. Field of Engineering hardly matters and it has very less impavt on your career choice.
All branches are more or less the same and person with attitude wins in the long race.
Ensure that you are in the best college so that you have good colleagues/friends to influence your thought process.

What are you most passionate about? This should be your first question. Choose a field that makes you really happy and work on somethng that you will be proud to tell your Grand-kids 30 years from now. Then you will know if you made the right choice.

It always depend upon your future preparation and financial support in choosing between the three courses you are planning to take, but also bear it in your mind that sometimes financial support/availability matter most in choosing something to accomplish with.If I to decide i prepare to take chemical course
because only few students are planning to take it but this course
is very useful for tomorrows preparation to a certain developing nation.

Electrical engineering would probably be more useful and demanding, especially if planning for the ever-changing future.

You should consider where you want to work, if that matters. Here in Ohio chemical engineers are in high demand.

my cousin is an electrical engineer, and got to co-design rollercoasters for six flags. i'd say electrical.
