Do the recent wildfires have anything to do with it or did something else happen?

Because they have a very poor fan base. They are trying to spark up stadium attendance. The Rays have 4 of the 5 worst home attendance game records this season... So playing in Orlando, with lots of turists, seemed like a good idea to get more people to the stadium and more revenue for the team. Seems it isn´t working!

Just saw a crackhead on the street corner trying to sell the D-Rays, he wanted fair asking price or trade for a 30 pack of bud and a pack of newports.

They were playing at the Orlando complex to drum up attendance plus they thought since they were playing against Texas that Sammy Sosa might hit his 600 homerun ball there.

trying to promote baseball in orlando. tryin to get peoplefrom orlando to travel 90 miles to st pete to watch the rays.

I think they were playing in Orlando to promote baseball in that area.....
