How upsetting that a jealous Marshla fan has made it on here.

And Slaton is faster than McFadden, White is faster than Jones, so nope, don't think so.

Dear Arkansas fans: Felix Jones' Scout.com page says his 40 speed is 4.55. I've got to tell you, that is in no way faster than Slaton OR White. Give me a break! And for the first time ever I believe, White was able to beat Slaton in race this past Spring. You're SADLY mistaken if you think your backfield is faster.

Steve Slaton is very, very fast but I think you are overestimating the speed of the other guys. You obviuosly have never seen Arkansas play or you would know Jones is CLEARLY faster than Pat White. He is fast, but he in no way can match Felix Jones. And Slaton is probably the fastest back in College right now, but McFadden is right on his butt. So Arkansas is faster.

Plus, all that speed will not matter. Slaton does not hit the line hard enough and the Mountaineers will finish 10-2 and will go to a decent bowl game. Rutgers will finish ahead of you in the Big East as well.

Their is no back field faster but, their is one better the 2005 Trojans. I mean Leinhart, bush, and white. Come on you can't compare the two. But I have got to say it will be amazing to watch White and Slaton tearing up defenses this year. Oh yeah and to who ever said Noel Devine is straight up garbage look at his game tapes. The kid is amazing he could be the next Barry Sanders.

Yeah.

Arkansas. They got Darren McFadden and Felix Jones.

Novel Devine is straight gargabe.

Edit: Where's the proof that Slaton is faster than McFadden and Pat White is faster than Felix Jones you ******** stupid.

The Texas Longhorns 2005 national championship team had a faster backfield. Vince Young at qb (runs a decent4.5), first string runningback Charles runs track in the Big-12 and won some of the shorter meter races. I think he would time in at about 4.34. Ramonce Taylor was also a runningback/ receiver, I think he ran a 4.4 at the combine. And Selvin Young runningback didn't have spectacular speed, but he was just as fast as Vince.

Has refers to the past. So West Virginia 2008 does not qualify.

McFadden and Jones by far...not even close.... two 1,000 yd rushers in the SEC.....McFadden being compared to Hersehell Walker.... both (McFadden and Jones) run a 4.3 and have power. Don't forget Peyton Hillis is the best FB in the country...runs a 4.5, too bad he was hurt last year

Shouldn't you concern yourself with 2007 before moving on to 2008? Bad things can happen in one year.

well your question is really very speculative... i cannot say for certain just where in 'college' football this mountaineer backfield would rank...

however, yous should have a very good team this season, and, who knows?... if yous can somehow learn to play defense, then yous may get the opportunity to play for the national championship... good luck to yous hillbillies / hahaha...j.j.

GO BUCKEYES!!!!!!!!!!
