I stayed angry with my old man for 5 years. I picked up the phone one day and gave him a call to see what had happened. I found out he had suffered a severe injury and was laid up out of work for a long time. He was in some pretty rough times but was managing to scrape by.
That had me feeling pretty bad that this all happened while I was angry. I learned a valuable lesson about forgiveness and maintaining contact with family.

I never sulk for long even when i have a reason i try to fix it up
i will get cranky but never the silent treatment & not longer than a day
always try to make up before the sun rises!!
so spit it out & tell me what you have done haha

when you angry with someone, you will never care about the timeline. Too angry to care.
But I hardly get angry with someone, I get angry with myself most of the time.

I'll think about that one. I believe it took me about 6 months after a really bad physical beating from my first spouse before he persuaded me and the children to return to him. I should never have let him talk me into returning to more hell and brimstone. Stupid! Stupid! I should have stayed away forever at that time and long before that time!

probably about 2 years, but that was all the way back in junior high
i don't stay angry, i just get sad.
