I would imagine that the hottest place, despite all the desert towns that have been mentioned already would be Honolulu.
That's in the South Pacific and is, indeed, very hot ALL year round, whereas I know that Arizona, etc. can be pretty damned cold in the winter.
Just a thought, hope that helps.

El Paso, Texas! I've lived here for about 19 years, I've been to other several "hot" cities in TX and NM, but El Paso is STILL the hottest! Even when it's windy it's more of a dry/hot breeze...

El Paso is the hottest, temperature wise that I have ever lived in, but it is a dry heat and isn't nearly as bad as a humid heat.

Tuscon or Phoenix, AZ. They face very hot temperatures in the day and cool temperatures at night.
