It's very likely a shrew, not a mole (shrew picture below). They are very hard to get rid of, as they are insectivores / carnivores and don't stick to the sticky traps. Fortunately, they rarely invade homes, unless by accident. If you know of any openings in your house, the only way to keep them out is to use copper wool (steel wool is not strong enough) and/or cement.
They are deterred by fox urine, which you might find at a hunting store. Cats will not kill a shrew population, because one bite will turn cats off for good.

I'm not sure if this will work on moles, but if you throw mothballs under your house it keeps snakes and skunks away--it might work for this critter too.

Awww, they is soooooo cute. put a piece of cheese nearby in a cup. and a little silly puddy at the bottom. when his tootsies are stickin you'll hear the bell you've taped on the side of the cup. then gently get the adorable little critter, give him a little kiss, and set him free outside

if uve already used or tried poison to get rid of it dont get another animal to help they can get posioned themselves get an exterminator.
