I really think he was the one who started everything, it was an obvious flop that blinded everyone including the NBA who suspended Horry for 2! games. The whole series was full of fouls like these, everyone is just overreating because of Steve's flop. Imagine when Horry bumped him he jumped and aimed for a sideway fall, landed then threw his hands up. How is that not a flop?! He should be the one suspended for causing this chaos.

PS: not a Spurs fan

WHY DOES STEVE NASH RUN RIGHT AT ROBERT HORRY IN A FOUL SITUATION WHEN THE MIDDLE OF THE COURT IS WIDE OPEN?

it's so obvious! steve nash intended it far before the contact!

Steve wanted the contact, he got the contact, and the flopped!

That wasn't even close to being the hardest fould of playoff yet they suspend rob? bs

Why would steve nash flop with 18 seconds to go in a already won game? He wanted free throws? He could have stood still and Finley would have fouled him. He wanted to get Horry a T or suspension? On a role player who averages less than 5 points a game? He wanted pity? After a head butt that split his nose without even flinching? Did you notice that after the head butt, he didn't even take one step back or even put his hand to his nose? People are saying he planned to have Horry do that? In that situation, most people foul by wrapping up a player. And Nash was already trying to avoid being fouled by Finley.

Steve Nash complains a lot on not getting foul calls, but he doesn't flop. He's going full speed forward, and all of a sudden he's going sideways? No one turns on a dime like that. As for the flinging his arms up, do you really think you would have total control of yourself when you are hit after an exhausting game like that, or do you think it would be kind of natural to just collapse for a bit? He didn't milk it, he didn't act injured, he didn't even complain during interviews. He joked about it.

It amazes me how people sitting on their couch eating potato chips are going to scrutinize the slow motion replay of someone who's just played an exhausting game and is hit unexpectedly? Ridiculous. Why was Derek Fisher so hurt from what seemed like a mild hit from Baron Davis? Because it was unexpected. Same with Nash.

How big of a jerk is Horry for saying worse would have been done in the old days and steve flopped? In the old days, if someone put a cheap shot to the star player in the waning seconds of a lost game, he would have had his *ss beat by the other team. Show some professionalism.

It was a hard foul. It was a good foul. Nash sold it, and the Suns bought it. Did the suspensions change the aspect of the series, yes, but the Suns should have won game 5, the way they were playing, and the way the Spurs were playing, but they didn't. Stern didn't knock down that 3, Bowen did...And they couldn't win game 6. It wasn't even as close as it seemed. Nash is a great player, and he threw up prayers that were answered in game 6. Bottomline, the Suns didn't win, when it counted. They still had the chance to put the league office and the Spurs and all their fans in their place with a win in game 6, but we all know how that turned out.

Even though I think he milked it you cant suspend just because you think he did. Everyone over reacts on some fouls so their call goes there way. I dont think he had the intention of causing all that chaos, but he did try to give Horry a technical, but it backfired in his face. I like Nash though.

Nash does his share of flopping. But you are delusional if you think he flopped on that Horry play. Stop being so blind.

Can you say Tim Duncan? Tony Parker? and Manu Ginobli all better then Nash. All do more things then Nash does. All can play defense. Nash flopped everyone knows it.

Nash did flop.

He was not only trying to draw a foul, but he was probably trying to get a flagrant called so he could get the free throws. It was a smart move on his part, but he didn't anticipate his bonehead teamates to leave the bench.
