weed-b-gone kills broadleaf plants. not grasses.

Roundup kills all.. grasses included. if you use roundup on your lawn, you'll get bare spots..

I think they both work equally well.. they just have different applications.

neither product has a ground sterilization effect. other plants can grow over where either chemical has been applied. for sterilization (if you don't want ANYTHING to grow where you've treated) use Triox.

I prefer Roundup. I sometimes use it undiluted, paint on with brush for really stubborn weeds (poke weed, trumpet vine, poison ivy)

It's not a matter of which works better, as they are both very effective at what they do, but they do different things.

WeedBGone is a weed killer that will not kill grass.

RoundUp kills everything it contacts -- weeds, grass, shrubs, flowers. You can even put it on stumps to kill them and prevent them resprouting.

You have to decide what you want to accomplish and choose which product better fits your needs.

I don't know, about whether it will be available, where you are, but, - here, in the UK, - there is ANOTHER product, called "WEEDOL", that is available, - and THAT is efficient at getting rid of all kinds of unwanted growth, - including BINDWEED, and some types of MOSS!

It's great stuff, - and, if it is used, as per the instructions, - it IS safe for PETS, too!
