Am I the only one who laughs everytime they announce the amount of votes?

Idol Gives Back was 70 over 4 hours (35 per 2)
Next week was 60 over 4 hours (30 per 2)
Last week was 45 over 2 hours
This week was 60 over 2 hours

All whlie their ratings continue to plummet..

P.S. wtf was wrong with the Maroon 5 lead singer Levine tonight? He sounded as if he got crushed by a semi tonight does he always sound that bad live?

So are you saying that would be impossible? I know I can get way way over 200 plus votes in less than 2 hours. I have done it before. Idol ratings are top in their slot and consistently are each season. Their audiences for the show are getting more diverse with each season, so I dont know where your info is coming from? Sounds to me like you just don't like the show. If thats the case, maybe you should just move on.

Its all about the numbers. "Bragging" about how many votes is the one of the reasons the producers, or whoever, won't make this a fair competition, a true America's choice", by only allowing a certain number of votes per phone. That would make more sense, and be more of a tru accounting of the actual choice of the voters, but then Ryan couldn't say "100 million votes!!!" for the finale.

Remember, many people vote more than once. It doesn't mean that 60 million different people voted.

As far as the maroon 5 guy, *in best Simon Cowell impression*, "If I'm being honest, that was a pitiful performance. Hideous. Nobody was excited about it. I wouldn't be surprised in America doesn't want him back next week."

I'm sure this is the last Idol season.
It is for me, anyway.
Can't handle Seacrest any more. He's just a nail on the chalkboard as far as I'm concerned.
Voting Melinda off was the last straw.
She was the only reason I watched this season.
I'll never watch it again.

Yes, Levine always sounds terrible live. He sounds like a rat.
He's a studio singer....you know.....where they can 'fix' his voice.

I was so disappointed about today's result.
I know Blake has lots of teen fans, but this is singing competition. People should vote reasonably. Melinda really has a great voice. Whenever she sings, her song touches my heart. I'm sure she'll make solo career.

they are just trying to let people believe that AI has a huge following despite the fact that they cannot show any proof of their validity & integrity on those number of votes!
