With questions like this you should try and be positive. Answers that are justified by negative are not a good idea. Never say
- Because my last boss sufferred from sociopathic personality disorder
- My colleagues are all dope smoking slackers so I end up doing all the work
- I got fired for having sex with boss's wife and teenage daughter at the christmas party

Rather emphasis the positive
- Looking for new opportunities because while you like your current job there is no opportunity for advancement
- You wish to move your career in another direction
- When you started you current job it was a challenge, but now you find it fairly easy now and so you are looking for new challenges

Maybe mention the practical
- Distance to travel
- Salary level (some companies don't pay as much as other companies)

Some things that might be involved such as the company going bankrupt or it was a short-term contract as useful. Other things include the company changing direction, so that your job role is changing away from what it originally was.

I have never found any negative response from these practical issue. Some managers like bullshit and others prefer to employ people who are honest.

If you were fired from a job and good way to get around this is to do a short intensive full-time course, and say that you wanted to change your career and so took this course. Now that the course is finished you are looking for new work in this area.

Tell them in your own words that future growth was not there. You need a company that will allow you to grow with them by having opportunities in advancement ,also a place that stimulates your mind with challenges is important. Another reason you left the prior job.

In questions such as these, dont give negative answers such as bad boss, job not satisfying, learned enough, internal politics, etc..
On the other hand, try to give positive answers such as looking forward to new challenges, want to join an admired company, want to give new direction to career, etc.
Of course, if you have neutral reasons like spouse getting transfrred, migrating, childrens education, etc then give those reasons.
